Did you know??


-Wrek was in his own jazz band called Playtime at the age 15.. He was the keyboard player, along with 6 other members which consisted of a drummer, bass player, alto sax player, tenor sax player, trumpet player, and a guitarist. They traveled from town to town, even out of state for gigs..

-Learned how to record music using workstations and multitracks in the studios on the southside of Chicago at the age of 16...

-Started playing the piano in 5th grade by ear and took lessons later on to read music. He played classical, jazz, rythm and blues... At the age of 12, he was featured in music recitals and was the only one out of all the other musicians, to add his own original solo pieces to classical music 3 yrs in a row! (He has the trophies to show it)

-While only a sophmore in high school, Wrek was already placed in college for music theory due to his advancements. He attended night classes.

-In a breakdancing crew when he was 15..

-Grew up off of old skool hip hop before he was heavily influenced by house...

-Changed his name to Kiddwrek late 2006

-Created the name Structured Muziq and designed the logo. Also he was one of the owners...

-In college, he majored in Graphic Arts, Computer Animation, and Video Editing....

-In 2007, Wrek was a Mixmaster Throwdown Dancer and performed in the 2007 B96 Pepsi Summer B-Bash..

-In 2006, he was a dancer in Bear Who's music video, The Beatbox, featuring Lu Roc and DJ Bam Bam...
